Zero realism is the style underpinning the new Zero collection inspired by concrete blocks used in industrial building. In a trend that runs transversally throughout the world of contemporary design and architecture, Zero interprets the concrete aesthetic by recreating in the minutest detail all the signs and marks left by the material’s natural ageing process. The most innovative digital technologies coupled with special 3D-effect graphics are used to accurately reproduce the cracks, holes and stains typical of timeworn concrete on the surface of Zero tiles. The three colours in the Zero collection reflect the typical tones of aged concrete. Taupe is the most elegant and sophisticated version, enhancing the collection’s vintage aesthetic to create uniquely atmospheric spaces. Grey reproduces industrial-chic scenarios and coordinates well with dark materials and wood effects ideal for warm, comfortable ambiences. Silver is the brightest and most luminous of the three colours, a cement grey that blends in effectively with the world of colour and decoration. The Zero collection has also seen collaboration with Tattoo & Visual artist Tiziano Colella, who designed the Titti 4 Zero hyper-decorative capsule collection combining mural techniques with old-school tattoo iconography. In keeping with the latest trend towards a fusion of styles, patterns and colours, Living Space embraces the world of visual art and proposes its ceramic panels for use as design and decoration elements. The collection’s decorative potential is also reflected in Patch, traversed by irregular and highly dynamic cuts, and the new Slim Pack which interprets the “brick” trend with the addition of an original angled edge, which can be highlighted during installation by choosing a contrasting coloured grout. Available with natural and crest-honed surfaces, Zero is ideal for experimentation and coordinates stylistically with the various elements in the Living Space range of materials. The collection is complemented by X20 60x120 cm slabs with a grip surface and 20 mm thickness specifically designed for outdoor use.
